According to the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), Mali boasts significant solar power potential, particularly in its northern regions, where annual sunshine hours exceed 3,000 hours. This abundant sunlight provides a strong natural foundation for the implementation of solar energy projects. Despite this vast potential, Mali’s renewable energy market is still in its early stages. The country’s energy mix is still dominated by traditional biomass and fossil fuels, with electricity access remaining relatively low. However, the government is becoming increasingly aware of the importance of renewable energy and has begun to implement policies to support this transition.
To better understand the local market and the regulatory environment, Bluesun’s team conducted a one-week visit to Mali. our team explored the solar panel market, delving into the government’s policies and measures designed to promote clean energy development. This visit helped establish a strong foundation for future partnerships with local customers and stakeholders, paving the way for long-term collaboration.
During the visit, we also met with existing clients to assess their satisfaction and provide ongoing technical support. This valuable feedback is crucial for improving Bluesun’s offerings and ensuring continuous support for its clients.
Bluesun is committed to delivering high-performance solar panels and reliable energy storage systems to help Mali tap into its vast solar potential. With government incentives such as tax breaks and financial subsidies, the renewable energy sector is poised for growth, and Bluesun aims to be at the forefront of this exciting transition.
