Dubai's latest 7 megawatts of solar metered net power generation shows that with the Shams initiative continuing to work, in just nine days, 11 new watts have been added to the ten new arrays.

The head of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) announced yesterday that it once again emphasized the exponential speed of the new Shatas metering program in Dubai to drive new solar power generation growth.

Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, CEO and General Manager of the utility company, attended a ceremony to commemorate the opening of the largest private ground solar project in the UAE, which is owned by the chocolate manufacturer Nestlé's Middle Al Maha plant. Oriental business.

Nestlé issued a press release advocating 20,000 panel Al Maha devices and citing the latest information on the progress of the network metering program provided by the DEWA head.

Al Tayer said: “Since its launch in 2014, the Dubai Deepwater Hotel has achieved remarkable results. To date, 1,348 solar systems have been connected to the grid with a total generating capacity of 117 MW.”

Only ten days ago, DEWA announced that the Shams program had driven arrays on 1,338 roofs with a cumulative capacity of 106 MW, indicating that ten more systems arrived in the next nine days, increasing their capacity by 11 MW.

Nestlé installed 28,000 solar panels at three production sites, which may account for most of the latest data, but yesterday's update shows the installation speed of the Shams array.

DEWA said in June 2018 that the total net meter installation increased by 63 megawatts of solar capacity. Two months later, the authorities announced that they had received Shams' 323 megawatts of solar capacity requirements.

Dubai's goal is to bring its 7% of its electricity from renewable sources by next year.

In yesterday's press release, Swiss giant Nestlé claimed that one-third of its 413 global factories have fully used renewable energy. The chocolate multinational company announced in December 2017 that it plans to install three solar cells in Dubai with a total installed capacity of 7 megawatts, when it said it expects to be operational last year.

Every company is trying to install solar energy,Bluesun new office building also plans to install bifacial solar panel, mono solar panel, poly solar panel. When you visit the Bluesun building in 2020, you will see the running solar system on the roof.
