A working group of Swiss solar Luzern applied science and engineering and University of the Arts School of architecture, in cooperation with the school of mechanical and electrical integration experts are the direction of the development of cleaning robot a household rooftop photovoltaic system.
The school says the goal of the project is to combine the cleaning and moving capabilities of the robot in a low-energy way. The new engineering prototype has been successfully operated. Because of the use of 4 cleaning mechanisms and viscous silicon material, the robot can be attached to a slope of up to 35 degrees and can also be swept through the widest 2 cm clearance. The prototype will need further development and testing before it can be put into commercial production
