Nhoa Energy has commissioned a battery energy storage project with a capacity of more than 120 MWh for Taiwan Cement Group in Yilan County, Taiwan.
Nhoa Energy said its energy storage system meets the enhanced dynamic regulation service requirements set by Taiwan Power Company. It supports industrial behind-the-meter peak-shaving services to meet on-site power demand.
The Taiwanese government has pledged to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. In January this year, energy storage experts said Taiwan’s largest government energy storage system to date had begun operations.
